I may not be to crazy about the politicking that goes on in my work place but I have a kick ass view of New York's Skyline. I am actually in my company's penthouse offices on a 45th floor in midtown Manhattan and it is amazing all year round. I have seen lightning repeatedly strike the Empire State Building. Rolling thunderstorms with wind driven rain or blizzards that blinds o your view and makes you realize how small a part of this world you really are. I have seen breathtaking sunsets and sunrises that make you appreciate the beauty of nature.
I have also seen some bizarre stuff all the way up there (remember--I am on the penthouse floor, 45 stories above ground) ... like the time there were dragonflies flying all over the air in early August. Or lady bugs all over the windows... I have even seen bees and butterflies fluttering up above. Then there are the resident falcons and hawks that you see flying high above hunting for their next meals.
Its an awesome experience to witness this in New York City... so I thought I would share with you some pictures so that at least you can appreciate what it is I look out to daily and makes each day, no matter how zany, special. As the seasons change, I will add more to share with you.
